A magic location
Although they are less famous than the Borromean Islands, the Brissago Islands are worth a visit as well as the beautiful towns Ascona and Locarno on the Swiss coast of Lake Maggiore. Both towns host two significant cultural events well-known even overseas: the Ascona Jazz Festival and the Film Festival in Locarno.
