This welcoming room is located inside Casa Merita, a historic residence renovated in 2026, in the historic centre of Luino and directly overlooking Lake Maggiore.

The accommodation can host up to three guests and is ideal for couples, small families, solo travellers and anyone looking for a comfortable and independent stay in a central location.
The room has three single beds, a private bathroom with shower and a small, compact kitchenette. It is not a fully equipped kitchen, but an essential space with a small hob, refrigerator, kettle, crockery and cooking utensils, suitable for preparing breakfast, snacks and simple meals.
The room also includes a TV and free Wi-Fi. Bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included in the price.
The property does not have private parking. However, free and paid public car parks are available nearby.
For easier loading and unloading of luggage, guests can drive to the property and stop temporarily in front of the entrance.
Casa Merita is located in the heart of Luino, close to bars, restaurants and evening venues. For this reason, especially during the summer and on Wednesday mornings, when the weekly market takes place, normal noise from the surrounding area may be heard both during the day and at night.

Casa Merita is an excellent starting point for exploring Lake Maggiore and discovering its natural, cultural and culinary attractions.
Every Wednesday, the famous Luino Market brings the town centre to life and takes place in the streets directly surrounding the property. As soon as you step outside, you can stroll among market stalls, local products, traditional crafts and many shopping opportunities. Luino Market is considered one of the oldest markets in Europe and one of the most important in Lombardy.
A small lakeside beach is just a few minutes away on foot. In less than five minutes by car, you can also reach the equipped beach in Germignaga, with sand, relaxation areas and a venue where you can enjoy aperitifs and summer cocktails. Many other beaches and lakeside towns are also within easy reach.
Nature lovers can explore scenic trails, trekking routes and picturesque villages overlooking the lake. From Luino, you can also easily reach the Piedmont side of Lake Maggiore and visit well-known destinations such as Cannero Riviera and Cannobio.
The railway station is within easy walking distance and offers convenient connections for day trips to Milan without using a car. Some of Switzerland’s most renowned destinations, including Lugano, Ascona, Locarno and Bellinzona, can also be reached in approximately 30 minutes by car.
The location also provides easy access to several destinations in Piedmont, known for their culinary and wine routes and prestigious wineries.
