This welcoming room is located inside Casa Merita, a historic residence renovated in 2026, situated in the historic centre of Luino and directly overlooking Lake Maggiore.

The accommodation can host up to three guests and is ideal for couples, small families, solo travellers and anyone wishing to enjoy a comfortable and independent stay in a central location.

The room features three single beds, a private bathroom with shower and a small, compact kitchenette. This is not a fully equipped kitchen, but an essential cooking area with a small hob, refrigerator, kettle, crockery and utensils, suitable for preparing breakfast, snacks and simple meals.

The amenities also include a TV and free Wi-Fi.

Bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included in the price of the stay.

The property does not have private parking. However, free and paid public parking spaces are available nearby.

For easier loading and unloading of luggage, guests may drive up to the property and stop temporarily in front of the entrance.

Casa Merita is located in the heart of Luino, close to bars, restaurants and evening venues. For this reason, particularly during the summer and on Wednesday mornings, when the weekly market takes place, noise from the surrounding area may be heard both during the day and at night.

Casa Merita is an excellent starting point for exploring Lake Maggiore and discovering its natural beauty, cultural heritage and food and wine traditions.

Every Wednesday, the renowned Luino Market brings the town centre to life and takes place in the streets immediately surrounding the property. As soon as you step outside, you can stroll among stalls offering local products, traditional crafts and numerous shopping opportunities. Luino Market is considered one of the oldest markets in Europe and one of the most important in Lombardy.

A small lakeside beach is just a few minutes away on foot. In less than five minutes by car, you can also reach the equipped beach in Germignaga, featuring sand, relaxation areas and a venue where you can enjoy aperitifs and summer cocktails. Many other beaches and lakeside destinations are also within easy reach.

Nature lovers can explore scenic trails, hiking routes and charming villages overlooking the lake. From Luino, it is also easy to reach the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore, home to well-known destinations such as Cannero Riviera and Cannobio.

The railway station is within easy walking distance and makes it possible to plan day trips to Milan without using a car. Some renowned Swiss destinations, including Lugano, Ascona, Locarno and Bellinzona, can also be reached in approximately 30 minutes by car.
